It must be a curse, this losing of sunglasses!
Either I forget to take one of my God-knows-how-many pairs of sunglasses with me on vacation (and therefore the situation calls for a new pair, seeing as my family never visits somewhere dark and dreary) or I manage to lose a set every now and then. Today was just one of those days.
FORTUNATELY, I remembered where I left them and EVEN MORE FORTUNATELY, I have fairly excellent nocturnal vision. Which meant biking all the way back to the park and hunting down those bleachers near the baseball diamond. I don't even like watching baseball! Oddly enough, I was there to just hang out and give my friend some pointers for tennis. (Gyah, I'm getting a bit rusty now that camp's over! And tryouts are still a few weeks away! XP Heeelllppp meee, Oh Divine Bringer of Good Tennis Shots!)
But right. So I found the glasses [these were from Hawaii, and I actually liked them], and almost made it back without incident. Almost.  

But anyhow, a recap of today:

So, the new ending for Naruto: Shippuden is out! (This started on Episode Nineteen, for those of you like me slackers.) I only just finished watching it about half an hour ago, and was of course delighted with the ending.
Is it just me, or are the animators taunting all the SasuNaru fans with lovely pairing hints in their endings? Well, I hope I'm not the only demented gal to think this. EITHER WAY, I loved the new ending. About equal to the first, which is huge, because Home Made Kazoku is one of my favorite Japanese bands.
I'd love to blab all about it and fill this entry with delicious spoilers, but that's nice to those who're doing the legal thing and watching 'em all one by one as they air. (pouts) Almost as bad as an empty nail polish bottle.

But right. You're not interested in that.

I'm hyperactive right now. Just finished up an orchestra concert that was a hit. But that's not why. At the end, when I was walking back to put my viola (which is scarred beyond belief, the poor dear -- but I love it anyway) away, and I had to walk through a group of upperclassmen. It was totally random.

Fuwah, my computer is undergoing some major repairs. Personification: its Internet would be Code Blue right about now. Ever since I downloaded OpenOffice2.2 (ANOTHER REASON TO HATE IT!!!), it's been acting up. I asked my Dad for the full analysis, and he says that the software upgraded my Internet from 5.0 to 6.0... Problem is, I'm don't use Windows XP, and 6.0 isn't compatible with Windows ME.
HENCEFORTH, no Internet. For a long, long time. I might even need a new PC. Which kills. (tears up, sniffles, crawls away)
I've been making some very ugly lovely icons lately. Even revamping old ones. FROM BOREDOM. And yeah, still procrastinating out those 1000 themes.

I've been playing around with the computer lately. Checking out OpenOffice 2.2, messing with Microsoft Photo Editor, whining about Paint! again... Yeah. Uneventful, aside from trying out new things. I've determined that OpenOffice is next to useless for my causes despite being new, Microsoft is still being a bitch, and Paint won't save things nicely.

Of course, my scanner is hell. Not love. Hell. (I not-so-recently upped my non-existent production rate, and drew a 'arigatou30000hit' picture. Spontaneous, ne? The scanner... ruined it. So therefore, no upload. And here I thought I was the major reason behind such odd 'pictures'.) 
Today's been good {even if I gave myself a massive crick-in-the-shoulder while sleeping}. The revenge wasn't quite Sasuke-finally-kills-Itachi (NOOOOOO!!!) quality, but it was deserving nonetheless.

Yes. It's caught on to me, too.
I've started the 1000!Theme Challenge by Mint Pizza Queen (on fanfiction.net). Drabbles kill. Ah... And guess what my subject is?
SasuNaru.
(snorts) Oh, yes. I'm obsessed.
Currently, I'm on Theme 19, but I've also done work up within the 50's. So far, I'm behind. (laughs) But nonetheless, I'm taking it one step at a time and trying not to be so redundant. Meaning: only one letter's theme set at a time. Hence, why I've posted it as 'Catch-22: A' (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3472544/1/ ). Read, comment, whatever pleases. (shrugs)
Anyhow, hope the link works.

Another fairly good day. Nothing hard. Excruciating and poorly-timed deadlines. How I despise one-day projects. (scratches back of head, sighs) At least I've got some compensation for that. 
I've finally got myself both the opening and ending themes [anime version only, so far] for Naruto: Shippuden. (cough HomeMadeKazokufan-girl cough) 
Ah... Other than that, not much to say, I guess. Wait... Now I'm on #13 of the drabble-themes. SLOW. And I've started using Chinese proverbs as themes, too. Odd, hmm? (shrugs) It's been a rather odd day. It seems that I have trouble formulating coherent sentences when I write in a journal.
So instead, I'll take a test drive with a drabble. Because there is only one nice person (grins) who bothers to read, I won't be beaten up too badly.
I apologize if ItaNaru shounen-ai haters have somehow found this. Too bad.
Note: my usual pretties aren't working. Damn. [sorry, looks like it's just constant bold and italics in the drabble, everyone.] (obliverates wall)
